Hi, I'm Alex
I'm a self taught software engineer in Sydney, Australia. I have been building build web applications for over 5 years and I love to solve problems.
I used to work in the technology department of the construction industry for over 5 years, but since 2021 I have been working as a software engineer.
Since then I've shipped multiple applications and work in a wide variaty of industries: from software consulting to government services. I focus on front-end development, accessibility and sustainable code.
Current favourite technologies include: Astro, TypeScript, Three.js and Tailwind
Worked as a software consultant as an embedded team member, product delivery and ongoing support. Worked on design systems, CMS and application development.
Provided front-end development support for multiple web applications and transactions for NSW customers. Help developed some of the most used transactions (especially if you have a car!)
Help bootstrap an old legeacy software to a new SAAS platform using React to help the business scale and grow.
Digital exploration and support for building services engineers and drafters. Developed web applications to support clients and internal staff.
- I am an avid Magic the Gathering Commander player, and my favourite mana colour is Green.
- I love looking at floor plans, thats why I started in architecture!
