Me presenting in my honours year

At university, I completed my bachelor's degree in Computational Design at the University of New South Wales. I studied for 4 and a half years, including the a year of honours.

Below are some of the more note-worthy projects that held significant challenges.

HEXTIC

Sydney Architectural Festival 2014 installation at the Grasshopper Bar, fabricated with hexagonal prisms reflecting water ripples with integrated LED lighting for visual effect and interaction.

I designed the interaction & visual light animations using Processing 5 (Java) and used the manufacturers' priority software to project the colours in the lighting matrix.

Green Star Daylight Simulation

For my 3rd-year graduation thesis, I developed a workflow to produce a 3D Voxel Daylight Simulation with a Green Star Lux analysis.

The workflow was created with the 3D modelling software Rhino and Grasshopper (visual scripting). The simulation was done using using the plugins Honeybee and Ladybug.

I would later submit the paper with assistance from the course director to the Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia (CAADRIA) and present the study in 2016 at the University of Melbourne.
